About Vets on Main
Our founders, Drs. Elder and Bell, have been proud members of the Ottawa veterinary community for many years, working as associate veterinarians before establishing Vets on Main.
At Vets on Main, providing tailored, comprehensive and passionate veterinary care is where we set our sights. We offer all of your general practice needs such as health exams, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery, but we do much more than that! We are also trained to offer ultrasonography (such as abdominal ultrasounds and pregnancy checks), PennHIP radiographs, OFA testing, and much more.
Dr. Evan Bell is also proud to offer reproductive services for dog breeders in the area. This includes semen evaluations, infertility work ups, vaginoscopies, vaginal cytology, and various methods of insemination (including vaginal AI and transcervical AI, also known as TCI).
In an ever growing field of corporate-owned veterinary practices, they are proud to open Vets on Main as a 100% independently owned clinic. Being deeply rooted in the Ottawa community allows our team to better understand and address the unique needs of our clients.
Situated on Main Street in Old Ottawa East, near vibrant neighborhoods like the Glebe, Lansdowne, and Centretown, we love being part of a city known for its accessible green spaces, local eateries, and small-town charm within a larger urban setting.
